Training Programs to Help Our Managers Grow
While the role of a store manager can be very rewarding, it isn’t always easy. However, you can rest assured that at Burlington you’ll get plenty of support!
One way we do this is through the Store Manager Training Program (SMTP). Whether new to store management or just new to Burlington, the SMTP shows you how to successfully run a Burlington store. This four-week program teaches you everything you need to know to lead a successful store, from merchandising and loss prevention, to safety and customer service.
For our existing store managers, we offer the LEAD (Learning and Development) Program, a 3-4 month intensive curriculum that runs every summer. LEAD uses a variety of tools including online learning, webinars, and outside experts and facilitators. There is ongoing support and mentorship throughout the LEAD program. Participants are hand-selected by their regional leadership.
